Centurion Lounge Schiphol: access, guests & opening hours

Opening date and location: is the Centurion Lounge at Schiphol open?

• Open from 17 September 2026, between piers E and F in the non-Schengen departures area.
• The Amex Experiences App announcement shared with us states access for Platinum cardholders departing to a non-Schengen destination on the day of their visit.
• Amex describes Dutch-inspired food and design and a Blue Roast Coffee Bar. These are the operator's descriptions, not our own observations.

Platinum access and guest policy: what does a companion cost?

• The official AMS Lounge Finder, with Platinum Card (The Netherlands) selected, lists complimentary cardholder access and one complimentary companion per visit. Green supplementary cards on a Platinum account are excluded.
• Additional guests: the page lists $50 each, or $30 for children aged 2–17. Under-2s enter free with a parent or guardian and a lap-infant boarding pass or proof of age. All guests must take the same flight as the cardholder.
• Bring a valid Platinum card or eligibility code, a confirmed same-day departure boarding pass and government-issued ID. Entry is within 3 hours before departure, or 5 hours before a confirmed connecting flight; a same-day return trip is not a connection.

Other checks before each visit

• Check your exact card, flight and current lounge conditions in the Amex Lounge Finder; do not assume a Schengen-only itinerary qualifies.
• The official page displays guest prices in dollars. The euro charge and settlement currency have not been verified for this update; confirm them with Amex or at reception rather than treating $50 as €50.
• Immediate entry and a seat are not guaranteed. We have not assessed queues, service or food in person.

What this means for a Platinum cardholder

For an eligible non-Schengen departure, this is now an option to check rather than a future promise. Count only visits you can actually make and would otherwise pay for; a new lounge alone does not make Platinum worthwhile. Gold is not named in the app's access announcement, so do not assume Gold or Priority Pass alone grants entry.
