Amex Netherlands referral offer 2026: Platinum 170,000 or Gold 70,000 points
The 27 October–24 November 2026 personal referral offer, card fees and the monthly purchases required before the two bonus instalments.
SHORT VERDICT
The offer is not an immediate 170,000- or 70,000-point payout. Eligible new applicants receive half in membership month 7 and half in month 13, subject to monthly purchases, an active card and Amex approval.

From 27 October through 24 November 2026, the checked personal referral offer lists up to 170,000 Membership Rewards points for The Platinum Card and up to 70,000 for The Gold Card. These are points, not Flying Blue Miles or cash. The offer applies only to eligible new applicants using a valid personal invitation link.
Platinum costs €75 per month; Gold costs €20 per month at the checked rates. The higher bonus does not automatically make Platinum the better choice: compare the ongoing fees and benefits you will actually use.
When do you get the points?
The first 50% is awarded in membership month 7 if you make at least one card purchase of €1 or more in each of months 1–6, and make a purchase in month 7.
The remaining 50% is awarded in month 13 under the equivalent requirement for each of months 7–12, with a purchase in month 13. The two six-month periods are assessed separately; missing a month forfeits that period's bonus. Your card must still be active when points are awarded.
Who is eligible and what should you check?
Your application must be approved by Amex. You must not have held a main or supplementary Amex card in the preceding 12 months. Confirm your own eligibility, the current point amount, the application deadline and all card terms on the linked Amex page before applying.
The welcome bonus is temporary; the monthly card fee is ongoing. If the card's travel, dining and lounge benefits do not fit your real use, the points alone may not justify the cost. Our calculator and experience-led guides below help you make that comparison.
